Our client, a financial services company located in Boston, is seeking a Speaker Coordinator to join their team through the end of the year. This will be a hybrid role with onsite days Tuesday-Thursday, and two days remote. It is compensating up to $30 an hour, depending on experience. Responsibilities:
- Serve as liaison between the investment team and distribution channels regarding meeting communication.
- Track and monitor investment speaker requests using internal systems.
- Provide logistical and administrative support to the event management team.
- Assist with on-site event needs, including AV coordination, catering, documentation, and shipping.
- Transcribe meeting notes and handle other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 0-2+ years of experience in meeting planning or hospitality; financial services experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and crisis-handling skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office with willingness to learn internal systems.
