Our client, a nonprofit, is seeking a temporary to permanent Program Coordinator to support their team in Arlington, VA!
Responsibilities:
- Support daily operations for new and ongoing programs and initiatives.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, webinars, and workshops.
- Develop and manage content for external outreach, including social media, newsletters, and website updates.
- Assist with research, writing, and publication of commentary, reports, and policy briefs.
- Organize speaker invitations and content for conferences and events in partnership with the meetings team.
- Support podcast scheduling and production.
- Maintain contacts database and send event invitations and program communications.
- Represent the organization at internal and external conferences, events, and meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in program coordination, administration, or communication, including internships.
- Experience managing social media and maintaining websites.
- Strong writing, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- High level of professionalism and comfort working with diverse teams.
- Experience planning and executing events is a plus.
Position Information:
- Pays $31-$33.50/hr, while temporary, DOE.
- Converts to a salary of up to $65,000/year, when permanent.
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote (Arlington, VA – Metro accessible).
- Full-time schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Moderate travel required for events (up to 10 days).
