Our client, a biopharmaceutical company located in Cambridge, is seeking a contract Administrative Assistant to join their team for approximately 12 months. This hybrid role (4 days onsite, 1 remote) offers flexible hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and is compensating $45-$50 per hour, depending on experience. Responsibilities:
- Manage complex calendars for HR leaders, schedule meetings, and coordinate with admin peers to resolve conflicts.
- Lead coordination of team meetings and support other event planning as needed.
- Arrange domestic travel including air, hotel, and transportation.
- Handle internal and external communications, prepare agendas, and coordinate virtual meetings.
- Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive information.
- Provide ad-hoc support across the HR department, including calendaring and guest coordination.
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred with at least 5+ years of relevant administrative experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail and grammar.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Prior experience in life sciences or within an HR team is a plus.
- Must be highly organized, proactive, and able to adapt to changing priorities under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrates sound judgment, professionalism, and strong follow-through.
