Our client, family office is seeking a Temp Assistant to support their Accounting Team in New York. The hours are 9am – 5pm. This is a fully remote position. Duration is approximately 2 months with potential to extend.

Position will work with the Controller and two accounting professionals – Temp will provide administrative support. Ideal candidate will have strong attention to details, highly organized and expense management experience.

Ongoing Tasks:

  1. Asking for alternate payment methods
  2. Clarifying things that are unclear from invoices
  3. Discussing payment timing
  4. Gaining access to portals

Projects:

Gathering 2025 charitable donation acknowledgement letters from counterparties and confirming that they include the following information:

  1. Addressed to correct donor
  2. Inc lude whether or not the donee is a 501c3
  3. Include whether or not goods or services were received in exchange for the donation
  4. Include correct donation amount
  • Downloading bank statements monthly and saving to appropriate area of B drive
  • Setting up a CSC account for the family office that is separate from (hedge fund)
  • Calling some sites we use to figure out how to add more than one 2FA cell phone number
  • Calling Fidelity to see if accounts for the kids still exist there
