Our client, a Boston area life sciences firm, is seeking an Office Facilitator to join their team for 6+ months with the potential to convert permanent. This onsite role has hours from 8AM-5PM and is compensating $25 an hour. Qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as liaison and backup to the office manager and reception
- Manage meeting room reservations, catering, and setup/cleanup logistics
- Host on-site visitors and coordinate with team admins
- Maintain cleanliness and stock of public areas and meeting rooms
- Assist with shipping, employee gifts, bereavement needs, and equipment maintenance
- Coordinate with IT for AV needs and troubleshooting
- Ensure security and safety, including emergency response duties
Qualifications:
- Friendly, service-oriented demeanor with willingness to pitch in on various tasks
- Background in hospitality, reception, or administrative support preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to lift/move light furniture and manage event logistics
- Clear communication and strong attention to detail
- Availability to work flexible hours as needed
