Our client is seeking a temporary Administrative Assistant to provide support for their 2 directors and the Office Manager, located in New Carrollton, MD!
About the Job:
- Manage the phone lines and greet visitors, providing exceptional hospitality.
- Support scheduling, scanning, filing, and document organization.
- Coordinate projects and communicate with staff and community residents.
- Handle data entry, list generation, and inquiry resolution for a weekly program.
- Complete additional tasks/special projects as needed.
About You:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 2+ years of administrative experience is required, preferably in a government or utility setting.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a plus!
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Strong skills in MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, Canva, and Access.
- Knowledge of local government processes is a plus!
- Able to be responsive after-hours occasionally, in case of emergency.
About the Position:
- Pays $25/hr-$27/hr, depending on experience.
- Long-term temporary role with a potential for extension.
- Hours are 7:00am-3:30pm.
- 100% onsite in New Carrollton, MD
