Our client, a school in Lower Manhattan, is looking to hire a Temp to Perm School Office Assistant. This position will start early/mid August 2025, require 5 days in office. Hours 8:00am-4:00pm, availability for OT as needed. Temp duration is approximately three months before conversion.
Position supports Co-Heads of the school:
- Provide administrative support such has scheduling, calendar management and meeting coordination
- Work on special projects for the team
- Assist in data management and filing systems
- Maintain database and spreadsheets
- Field phone calls
- Processes incoming mail, packages, and deliveries helping the facilitates team
- Builds a positive, safe, and orderly environment by following procedures
- Provides oversight for presentation of other shared spaces throughout the school
Qualifications:
- BA preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Desire to be around children and ability to interact appropriately with people of all ages and development levels
- Knowledge of GSuite products
- Collaborative spirit, proactive, follow through and committee to learning new things
Compensation:
- Temp pay rate in line with 50K perm base
- Medical, dental, vision, 401K plus match (day 1), tuition reimbursement
