Our client, a healthcare organization is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to join their team in Boston, MA. This role is full-time, Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, starting ASAP through the end of the year. The position pays $23/hour, with all equipment provided.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for new members, providing outreach and inbound call support.
- Educate members on health plan benefits, address questions, and document healthcare service needs.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and schedule intake visits.
- Utilize motivational interviewing and engagement strategies to build trust with members.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to resolve member needs.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, call center, or insurance setting.
- Relevant experience, with at least 1+ year in community outreach or working with complex populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with cultural competency and active listening ability.
- Experience with motivational interviewing, data entry, and Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain professional, accurate documentation.
