A prestigious higher education institution is seeking a Temporary Executive Assistant to support the Office of the CEO within its alumni association. This hybrid role is based in Cambridge, MA (3-4 days onsite) and offers $34.75/hour for 40 hours/week (Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM with unpaid lunch). The position is expected to last 3-6 months with strong potential for permanent hire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex and changing calendars for senior leadership.
- Coordinate high-level meetings, events, and detailed domestic/international travel.
- Prepare meeting materials, presentations, and correspondence.
- Handle sensitive communications with discretion and professionalism.
- Track budgets, process expenses, and manage purchasing.
- Draft reports, take meeting minutes, and support special projects.
- Serve as the primary contact and liaison for the CEO.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years’ administrative experience, preferably supporting senior executives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential matters.
- Experience in higher education or non-profit settings preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
