Our client and Investment Management firm located in Downtown, Manhattan is looking to hire a Part Time Temp Office Attendant. This role requires someone in office Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and hours are 9am-4pm. Ideally the candidate will be flexible to come in occasionally on Mondays and Fridays.
Responsibilities
- Conference room catering set-up.
- Post meeting conference room break down. This includes removing rubbish, straightening chairs, wiping surfaces and moving left over food.
- Act as back-up to receptionist; responsibilities include answering phones and greeting guests
- Ensure the cleanliness, orderliness, and sanitation of office and outdoor terraces as needed. Duties include, but are not limited to, sweeping, dusting and wiping of surfaces, stocking outdoor refrigerators and the cleaning and maintenance of outdoor grills.
- Restock restrooms with toiletries, air freshener, and hand sanitizer.
- Attend to the needs and additional requests of company and clients.
- Light maintenance and repairs of office equipment and furniture as needed.
- Stock the kitchen with supplies (bottled drinks, snacks, condiments, paper goods etc).
- Load and unload dishwashers daily.
- Assist with mailroom and general office duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Ideal candidate will have experience in a corporate setting, but also open to candidates who are out of hospitality
- Professional office environment experience preferable.
- Excellent customer service, professional attitude and appearance is a must.
- Physical activity required including bending, reaching, lifting
Compensation:
- $20 – 23/hr
