Our client, a higher education institute in the Boston area, is seeking an Enrollment Specialist to join their team for 5+months. This hybrid role has hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM and is compensating $20 an hour. Qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact via phone for parents, students, and other university constituents
- Answer and direct calls for the University Main Line and other supported departments (Student Financial Services, Admissions, etc.)
- Provide accurate information and ensure excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Navigate and use databases, Microsoft Office applications, and other tools to assist callers
- Direct inquiries to the appropriate university offices based on caller needs
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a higher education administrative environment
- Previous experience in customer service, front-facing roles
- Strong phone etiquette, interpersonal skills, and a positive, professional demeanor
- Comfort with databases and office software, especially Microsoft Office Suite
