About the Job:
- Support background checks, offer letters, and file maintenance.
- Process unemployment and benefits-related claims.
- Handle monthly compliance mailing and email notifications regarding benefits.
- Support the employment and wage verification processes.
- Provide support to the team and general HR support as needed.
About You:
- 1+ years of strong benefits experience, FMLA experience is highly preferred.
- A high school degree, or equivalent, is required; A college degree is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ACA legislation, FMLA, COBRA and more.
- Expertise in planning, organizing, prioritizing, and managing own workload effectively.
- Ability to relate effectively to others, fostering positive relationships.
About the Position:
- $25/hr-$28/hr, while temporary, DOE.
- Up to $60k when permanent, DOE.
- 30 hours per week.
- Hybrid with 2 days/week on-site.
- Metro accessible office in Alexandria, VA.
