Our client, an insurance company in Hartford, CT, is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to join their team on a one-year contract, with potential to convert permanent. This full-time role consists of 4 days onsite and one remote. It has hours from 8:30AM-5PM and is compensating $22 an hour. Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize day-to-day operational workflows and workplace logistics
- Analyze business operations, track key performance indicators, and align processes with customer needs
- Support corporate functions by utilizing multiple systems and reporting tools
- Prepare, review, and analyze reports to support operational efficiency
- Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth execution of workplace activities
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of professional experience in operations support, customer service, or administrative coordination within a fast-paced corporate environment
- Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Proven ability to streamline operations and manage workflows effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort using multiple administrative/computer systems simultaneously
- Familiarity with Oracle, Salesforce, or HTML-based tools strongly preferred
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
