Our client, a thriving Reform Jewish congregation in Lexington, MA, is seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to oversee marketing and communications strategies that enhance community engagement and organizational goals. This is a temp-to-hire role, based onsite in Lexington, MA, with a hybrid schedule (3-4 days onsite, 1 remote to start). Standard hours are 8:30/9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Pay is low $30s/hr, converting to $65K once permanent. Parking is available onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to support organizational objectives and community engagement.
- Manage content creation across email, newsletters, website, social media, and print materials.
- Oversee digital marketing campaigns, track performance, and optimize user engagement.
- Produce marketing collateral including brochures, signage, presentations, videos, and graphics.
- Analyze data and report on campaign outcomes to refine strategies.
- Partner with staff, clergy, and lay leaders to create tailored campaigns that foster belonging and participation.
- Ensure consistent messaging across worship, holidays, programs, and educational opportunities.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
- 3-5 years of marketing/communications experience, preferably on a small team or as a sole contributor.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Constant Contact, Adobe Creative Suite, CRM platforms, and digital marketing tools.
- Strong organizational, writing, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative team player with professionalism, creativity, and problem-solving mindset.
- Experience working in Jewish communal settings preferred.
