Beacon Hill has partnered with a longstanding client in Chicago in hiring a Product Marketing Manager to start immediately. We are looking for a strategic and customer-focused professional to drive the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for the client’s products. This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and sales – ensuring that there is a deep understanding of customers, communicates product value effectively, and enables revenue growth. The ideal candidate has experience in B2B or B2C marketing, strong analytical skills, and a passion for telling compelling product stories that resonate with the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature releases.
- Define product positioning, messaging, and unique value propositions to differentiate in the market.
- Conduct customer, competitor, and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and insights.
- Partner with product management to translate customer needs into product requirements and roadmap priorities.
- Create sales enablement tools, playbooks, and training to equip the sales team with product knowledge and messaging.
- Collaborate with demand generation, content, and digital marketing teams to build campaigns that drive awareness and adoption.
- Own customer personas and buyer journey insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Work with analytics to track product adoption, customer engagement, and marketing ROI.
- Act as the voice of the customer internally and the product evangelist externally through presentations, webinars, and events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA a plus).
- 3+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or related field.
- Strong understanding of go-to-market strategy, customer segmentation, and value-based messaging.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience leveraging data to shape marketing strategies.
- Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, etc.).
