Our client, an investment firm basked in Brooklyn, New Yor, is seeking a Part-time Temporary Administrative Assistant for an open ended assignment. This role is majority remote but must have flexibility to go on site as needed. Hours are generally 8:00/9:00 a.m. – 5:00/6:00 p.m. with a requirement of working 2-3 days/week.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive project support, including data entry, data transfers, and process organization.
- Support implementation and management of tracking software.
- Coordinate event logistics, including attendee lists, calendar invitations, menus, and other details for upcoming events.
- Conduct research for offsite events (venues, pricing, hotel blocks) and prepare budgets and recommendations.
- Assist with light project management responsibilities, helping to organize and prioritize ongoing initiatives.
- Review and optimize shared directories and internal resources to improve efficiency and organization.
- Collaborate with team members while working independently to complete assignments with accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support, operations, or project coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, and the full Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with Box and Confluence preferred.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently and with consistency.
