Title Clerk
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Title Clerk. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates well with customers and partners, and can handle multiple priorities with accuracy. The main responsibility is to oversee title processing and documentation to ensure all transactions are completed in compliance with state and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and resolve delayed titles (60-120+ days) and repossession titles by working directly with customers, dealers, DMV offices, and county clerks.

Process title releases once collateral is satisfied or following auction sales in accordance with state guidelines.

File UCC-1 documentation for collateral not requiring a title.

Collaborate with internal departments to verify liens and title records.

Provide consistent follow-up to confirm title status and secure required documents for completion.

Maintain accurate records, process paperwork, and ensure all activities comply with company policies and applicable regulations.

Contribute to team goals by supporting daily workflow and assisting colleagues when needed.
Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience handling auto titles strongly preferred.

Knowledge of title transfers, repossession processes, and DMV/county clerk procedures.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document processing.
