Our client, a Tyngsboro, MA corporate office, is seeking a Temp to Hire Front Desk / Office Coordinator to support our business operations. This role is essential in providing administrative support to the Controller and business office, ensuring smooth day-to-day workflow.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Front Desk
- Answer and direct phone calls, greet visitors, and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain organized accounting and office records through filing, scanning, and copying.
- Prepare and distribute daily sales reports and miscellaneous reports for checks and balances.
Accounting Support
- Enter data into the accounting database and support record accuracy.
- Assist with billing, vendor payments, cash receipt posting, and reconciliations.
- Support monthly and annual inventory counts.
- Provide backup support during software upgrades and system processes.
General
- Act as backup to other department positions as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a clean, organized office environment.
- Demonstrate integrity, punctuality, and strong communication when collaborating with colleagues.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Ability to sit, communicate, and operate office equipment for extended periods.
- Must occasionally move materials weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Standard office environment with minimal physical exertion.
