Our client, a growing manufacturer in the metals and plastics industry is seeking a Front Desk / Office Coordinator to join their team in Tyngsboro, MA. This is a full-time, 100% on-site, temp-to-hire role with hours Monday-Thursday 8:00-4:30 and Friday 8:00-3:30 (with a 30-minute lunch). Compensation ranges from $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience. Qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact at the front desk, answering phones and directing calls.
- Handle mail distribution, check deposits, and filing.
- Assist with vendor invoices, packing slips, and account reconciliations.
- Enter and maintain accounting records and spreadsheets for AP, tariffs, and sales taxes.
- Provide support with billing, payments, and general office tasks.
- Act as backup for other office staff when needed.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting (preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (preferred).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Professional demeanor with ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Comfortable working on-site in a collaborative office environment.
