Our client, a professional association, is searching for a temporary to permanent Program and Travel Coordinator to support their team, starting ASAP! If you have experience with professional education and booking international travel, and are able to commute to Linthicum, MD, apply now!
Responsibilities:
- Represent the association at external meetings and events.
- Develop in-person and virtual educational activities. Coordinate assigned education programs.
- Identify speakers and collaborate with them on the educational materials.
- Support the association’s annual meeting by reviewing programs, identifying experts, checking onsite rooms, etc.
- Handle expense reconciliation, program budget preparation, and general financial review.
- Complete additional projects and tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional association experience required.
- Experience with international travel booking and logistics required.
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Strong proficiency in the MS Office Suite is required.
- Moderate travel is required.
Position Information:
- $27/hr-$28/hr, depending on experience
- Converts to a salary of $59K-$62K.
- Hybrid with 2-3 days/week onsite.
- Office in Linthicum, MD.
