Our client, a prominent higher education institution based in Philadelphia, is seeking a contract Admissions Ambassador to join their team in Philadelphia. This role is central to engaging prospective students and community partners, representing the organization at recruitment events, traveling to different educational and community organizations in the area, and guiding applicants through the admissions process.
About the Job
- Represent the college at high schools, community-based organizations, and college fairs.
- Deliver presentations on academic offerings and admissions processes to prospective students and families.
- Build and maintain relationships with school counselors, educators, and community leaders.
- Support prospective students with admissions-related inquiries and applications.
- Track recruitment activities and ensure documentation is accurate.
- Collaborate with the Outreach and Recruitment team to meet enrollment goals.
About You
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in higher education, student services, or a related field.
- Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to off-campus sites.
