Our client, a professional organization located in Washington, DC, is seeking a temporary-to-hire Banquet Manager!
About the Job:
- Monitor personnel performance, ensure standard of service, and coordinate facility maintenance.
- Ensure guests needs are met, respond to feedback, and review comments with staff to improve service.
- Provide daily staff guidance, promote performance, and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and ensure operations remain current.
- Ensure effective growth and quality service are maintained through additional responsibilities.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2+ years of banquet management, hospitality, or restaurant industry experience are required.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus!
- Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs.
- MS Office and Adobe Suite knowledge.
About the Position:
- $26/hr-$29/hr while temporary
- $60K-$65K when permanent
- Hours are 8:00am-6:00pm.
- 100% on-site in Washington, DC.
