Our client, a global life sciences consulting firm with an office near Penn Station, is seeking a Long-Term Temp Administrative Assistant to support their busy NYC office during their peak season (Q4). The team is very busy and needs additional administrative support, and this role is critical to helping operations run smoothly. You’ll be supporting the NYC office with a range of tasks including calendar management, travel coordination, event support, and more. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic, professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Calendar management for team members
- Booking travel and managing related logistics
- Processing expenses and reimbursements
- Supporting internal events (e.g. booking rooms, managing catering)
- Conference room reservations
- General office support as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a corporate administrative role
- Prior experience in a professional services environment strongly preferred
- Ability to operate efficiently and autonomously with limited direction
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Friendly, warm, and resourceful personality
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity (“operating in the grey”)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
