Order Desk Specialist
Pay: $18/hr+ DOE | Contract-to-Hire | Start: ASAP – Monday-Friday 8-5pm
Overview:
A growing company in the home products industry is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Order Desk Specialist to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and providing top-notch customer service while supporting daily order operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process customer orders, price quotes, and product inquiries
- Provide information on pricing, availability, and delivery timelines
- Coordinate with sales, accounting, and warehouse staff to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment
- Assist with order adjustments, returns, and general customer support
Requirements:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customer service or order processing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with QuickBooks is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Detail-oriented and professional with a customer-first mindset
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
