Our client, a boutique financial firm led by a close-knit team of three partners, is seeking an experienced and proactive Temporary to Permanent Office Manager to oversee daily office operations and support an exciting office renovation and redesign project. This role requires approximately 40 hours per week with a flexible hybrid schedule. There may be some overtime required, specifically on weekends as projects begin – this will be rare. This is an excellent opportunity for a resourceful, hands-on professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys creating a presentable, functional workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day office management functions, including office lease renewal and coordination of building upgrades (HVAC, IT systems, etc.).
- Act as the primary liaison with building management, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution of ongoing projects.
- Lead the office redesign initiative-including furniture planning, artwork selection, and aesthetic improvements to create an inviting and professional environment.
- Maintain kitchen and common areas, ensuring all spaces are tidy, stocked, and well-organized.
- Oversee light reception responsibilities, such as greeting visitors and managing conference room schedules.
- Prepare the office for increased seasonal activity during the upcoming holiday period.
- Support a variety of administrative and operational needs to ensure seamless daily functioning as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in office management, facilities coordination, or operations, ideally within the finance or investment industry.
- Background in office setup, design, or space planning-experience selecting décor or artwork is highly valued.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and vendor management abilities.
- Self-starter with flexibility, autonomy, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to occasionally work weekends as needed during busy project phases or special office events.
- Bachelor’s degree not required.
Compensation:
- Up to 100k, hourly in line
