Our client, a global investment firm, is seeking a Temporary (possible TTP) Administrative Assistant to support a group of professionals at various levels (primarily support to 2 MDs with some ad-hoc admin support to others). The team is looking for a high-performing, adaptable administrative professional who can jump in quickly and contribute from day one. Pay rate up to $45/hour DOE.
This role sits in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with over 40 administrative professionals in the NYC office. The firm recently went through an acquisition, so candidates must be prepared to step into a dynamic and evolving workplace. Those who thrive here are steady under pressure, proactive in their support, and take pride in delivering high-quality work while adapting to change. Hours are 8:30am-5:30pm daily, on a hybrid schedule (4-1).
Key Responsibilities:
- Calendar management and meeting coordination
- Booking travel arrangements
- Handling and submitting expense reports (Concur)
- Preparing and printing pitch books and meeting materials
- General team support across varying levels of need
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 2-4+ years of administrative experience, ideally supporting multiple professionals
- Prior exposure to financial services is strongly preferred; candidates recently out of the industry will be considered
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of juggling multiple priorities with minimal supervision
- Calm, professional demeanor and ability to stay grounded in a fast-moving, changing environment
- Resilient, adaptable, and not easily frazzled-a strong team player who can “roll with it”
