Our client, a commercial real estate firm located in NYC is seeking a Temporary Assistant Property Manager to join their fast-paced office. This is an on-site role, five days a week, with an ASAP start date and a three-month trial period, after which there may be potential for permanent hire based on performance and interest in real estate. Pay is up to $65,000/year.
Key responsibilities include managing lease and vendor contracts, maintaining organized files, ordering supplies, reviewing rent bills and extra charges, and assisting with various administrative and facilities-related tasks.
Qualifications include prior office management or property/facilities management experience, strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, and a proactive, resourceful attitude. The successful candidate will be highly organized, intuitive, and communicative, with the ability to learn quickly, work under pressure, and handle a dynamic workload. Familiarity with commercial real estate is preferred.
