Our client, an alternative investment firm, is seeking a Receptionist to join their team. They’re looking for an individual with strong prioritization and organization skills, who can communicate thoroughly and adapt in a fast-paced environment. The hours are 8:30am – 5:30pm with flexibility for overtime if travel issues arise. This role is fully onsite in Manhattan.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors, clients, and staff, providing a polished and professional welcome experience.
* Manage all front desk operations, including phone and email correspondence, visitor coordination, and maintaining a tidy reception area.
* Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
* Coordinate beverages and catering setup for meetings and investor events, ensuring seamless service.
* Manage conference room scheduling and prepare meeting spaces for internal and external guests.
* Support administrative functions and collaborate with the Office Manager and Executive Assistant on special projects.
Job Requirements:
* 1+ years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role (professional services or finance industry experience preferred).
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm and professional demeanor.
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and conference room scheduling tools.
* Reliable, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Compensation/Benefits:
* Up to $60,000 base salary + bonus
