About the Job:
- Greet visitors and ensure all security protocols are followed.
- Answer the phones, manage mail, maintain calendars and directories.
- Communicate with parents regarding student needs, emergencies, or absences.
- Maintain attendance records and proactively monitor attendance patterns, flagging when appropriate.
- Complete additional relevant tasks as required.
About You:
- 2+ years of customer service, administrative or receptionist experience are required.
- A high school diploma is required; An associate’s degree is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office and a strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with school safety and emergency procedures.
- Comfortable exercising discretion with confidential information and working in a fast-paced environment.
About the Position:
- $20/hr, depending on experience.
- Temporary starting 10/27 and lasting through 11/10.
- Potential for this assignment to extend.
- Hours are M-TH 10am-6pm and F 9am-3:30pm.
- 100% onsite in southeast Washington, DC.
