Our client, an association, is seeking temporary to permanent Meetings Coordinator to support their Alexandria, VA office! If you have 3+ years of nonprofit/association meetings experience, a bachelor’s degree, and proficiencies in ScholarOne and MS Suite, apply now!
About the Job:
- Manage daily meeting operations including pre-event services, registration, and providing customer service.
- Coordinate logistics such as the mobile app, data entry, and supplies/shipping.
- Confirm speakers and handle all related registration, materials, and other logistics.
- Collaborate with vendors and support onsite operations.
- Assist with correspondence and other meeting related tasks as required.
About You:
- 3+ years of strong, meetings experience in a nonprofit or an association setting is required.
- A bachelor’s degree is a must have!
- Tech savvy with proficiency in ScholarOne and MS Suite is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an eye for detail and ability to effectively multitask and prioritize.
- Able to travel several times per year.
About the Position:
- $25/hr-$30/hr while temporary, DOE.
- $57K-$65K when permanent
- Temporary to permanent position.
- Hours are 9am-5pm.
- Alexandria, VA.
