Our client, an architecture firm, is seeking a Temp Facilities Associate in NYC! The hours are 12pm – 9pm with one hour unpaid lunch. This role is onsite, 5 days a week. Position starts early November 2025. During approximately 3+ weeks with potential to extend.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain office space, including cleaning conference rooms, stocking restrooms, and collecting glasses/mugs from desks
- Handle minor repairs, lightbulb changes, and maintenance as needed
- Serve as primary facilities contact after hours (6pm-9pm) with building management and vendors
- Manage dishwashers, pantry upkeep, trash collection, and coffee/refrigerator deep cleaning on Fridays
- Conduct nightly walkthroughs, assist with deliveries, and support hospitality with late meeting cleanups
- Provide coverage for Facilities Team members, assist with storage closeouts, and handle other projects as required
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of facilities/mailroom experience in a professional environment preferred
- Ability to lift 40+ pounds and handle physical work safely
- Comfortable working independently in an after-hours environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with good judgment on when to escalate
- Collaborative team player with professionalism, integrity, and a “no-job-too-small” mentality
Pay:
- $26-$28/hour
