Our client, a privately owned investment firm, is seeking a Research Coordinator to join their organization. They are looking for an individual who is a skilled communicator, with strong organizational and prioritization skills. The hours are 8:30am-5:30pm with occasional after-hours email monitoring. This role is onsite five days per week in Manhattan.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as a key support partner to the Founding Partner and investment team, managing research and data-related workflows.
* Maintain and update the firm’s CRM system (Dynamo), ensuring accuracy of investor and company data.
* Track investment activity, research insights, and relationship management information across the firm.
* Assist with the preparation of client materials, presentations, and reports.
* Provide general administrative and project support to senior leadership as needed.
* Support the firm’s broader operational initiatives and office coordination efforts during periods of growth.
Job Requirements:
* 2-7+ years of experience in a research coordination, data management, or administrative support role within financial services, private equity, or investment management.
* Strong attention to detail with a disciplined, organized approach to tracking information and processes.
* High proficiency with Excel and CRM systems.
* Ability to work independently in a quiet, focused office environment while maintaining a team-oriented mindset.
* Exceptional communication and follow-through skills, with a discreet and professional demeanor.
* Intellectual curiosity about investments and long-term business fundamentals.
