Our client, a trade association, is seeking a temporary to permanent Policy Program Manager to support their team in Arlington, VA.
Responsibilities:
- Manage meeting preparation, develop agendas, follow-up and project oversight.
- Support webinars, campaigns, training programs, and industry events.
- Ensure members stay informed of critical developments in the industry.
- Develop committee reports, policy summaries, regulatory letters, and more.
- Complete additional duties as requested to support the program.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of policy and programmatic experience are required, preferably in a trade association.
- A bachelor’s degree is required; A post-graduate degree is highly preferred.
- Familiarity in transportation or hazardous materials
- Strong professionalism and work ethic with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Demonstrated ability to write well, proofread and edit, and communicate effectively.
Position Information:
- $31/hr-$34/hr, while temporary, depending on experience.
- $65k-$75k, when permanent.
- On-site 4 days/week in Arlington, VA.
- Metro accessible!
- 15-20 days of domestic travel per year is required.
