Our client, a non-profit organization, is seeking a temporary to permanent HR Assistant to join their team located in Washington, DC starting ASAP!
About the Job:
- Support full lifecycle open enrollment.
- Assist with onboarding new employees through communications, first day, training schedules, and more.
- Handle employee relations matters.
- Answer questions and address concerns related to HR matters.
- Provide support to additional projects and tasks as required.
About You:
- 2+ years of HR and administrative experience are required.
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field is required.
- Prior experience at a law firm is highly desired.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Paylocity, and HRIS experience.
- Strong confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Able to work independently with meticulous attention to detail.
About the Position:
- $23/hr-$25/hr, while temporary.
- Strong possibility for this position to become permanent.
- Hours are 9am-6pm.
- Hybrid schedule with 2 days/week onsite.
