Our client, a leading Global Asset Manager, seeks to hire a Temp to Perm Administrative Assistant Floater to help support their Credit & Insurance Business in their Midtown, Manhattan HQ. This person will report to and support the CAO, and they will cover with different teams across the department as needed. The position starts temporary with the goal to convert to perm after a 3-4 month temp trial period. Floaters provide overall administrative support to the office helping to cover vacations, leaves of absence and job openings within their administrative staff. The ideal candidate will have a flexible mentality with the ability to switch gears easily. Daily responsibilities will include heavy calendar management in various time zones using MS Outlook, planning and coordinating complex international and domestic travel arrangements, phone coverage, processing and submitting expenses (via Concur), drafting and revising general written correspondence, general administrative tasks (copying, printing, binding and scanning), helping to plan and coordinate team events, and other ad-hoc projects as requested. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of administrative support experience preferably supporting a team and in a fast-paced corporate environment, display strong attention to detail, knowledge of MS Office suite, and can adapt to change with ease. This role is Monday – Friday onsite. The hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm + OT / after hours work as needed. Some weeks there will be a lot of OT, and some weeks it will just be the standard hours. Hourly pay rate while temping is up to 45/hr DOE. Benefits + discretionary bonus once perm.

Qualifications:
- 4+ years of corporate administrative experience, ideally out of financial services or other professional services industries (legal, commercial RE, etc).
- Experience with MS Office Suite (particularly Outlook).
- Experience reconciling expenses in Concur.
- Experience booking both domestic and international travel.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
