Our client, a Financial Services firm in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a Temporary Administrative Floater to provide support across various teams within the organization. This role requires an individual who can work onsite and is comfortable stepping in to assist wherever needed. Hours are 8:30/9am – 5/5:30pm. Must be flexible and able to work upon request. Duration is open ended/long term temporary coverage.
Responsibilities:
- Provide coverage for administrative professionals during their absence due to planned (or unplanned) time off
- Provide organizational support, including managing calendars, booking travel, putting together itineraries and processing expenses
- Use Outlook to anticipate shifts in meetings and keep executives on time with regards to meetings and make sure all necessary materials are printed before meetings
- Coordinate in-person, phone, and virtual meetings (book conference rooms, notify security, order catering, etc.)
- Provides administrative support to senior professionals
- Ad hoc projects
Requirements:
- 5 + years of administrative experience in a financial services / high volume industry
- Ability to multitask and prioritize while exhibiting strong judgement and professionalism
- A proactive personality with excellent anticipation and problem-solving skills
- Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Working knowledge of expense processing and travel booking systems (Concur preferred)
- CRM experience
Pay:
- $40/hour
