We’re seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing & Customer Service Specialist to join a small, collaborative team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity starting at $18/hr.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate professionally with vendors (primarily via email, some phone calls)
- Process and input purchase orders accurately into the system
- Manage a high volume of emails and ensure timely responses
- Collaborate with team members and maintain a positive, coachable attitude
- Multitask effectively while staying organized in a fast-paced setting
Requirements
- Purchasing order experience is required
- Strong written communication skills (must be able to write professional emails)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to stay organized and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Punctuality is critical
- Customer service experience preferred
- Calm demeanor and strong people skills
