This hybrid Administrative Assistant role offers $24 for a 4-6 month assignment supporting a major retail organization in Marlborough, MA with a schedule that runs Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. This position provides high-level administrative support within a fast-paced corporate environment, requiring strong organization, communication, and multitasking abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain multiple calendars, meetings, and scheduling needs
- Coordinate travel arrangements and process expenses
- Handle inquiries, research information, and interact with internal teams on complex or confidential matters
- Organize files, record-keeping systems, office layout, and administrative workflows
- Support and oversee administrative projects; provide backup support to other admins
- Prepare documents, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations
- Assist with department meetings, trainings, conferences, and logistics
- Act as a proxy in select systems and support cross-department communication
Candidate Qualifications:
- 5+ years of administrative experience in a corporate setting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to shifting needs
- Experience with scheduling, managing multiple calendars, travel coordination, and expense processing
- Strong relationship-building skills and collaborative mindset
- Highly resourceful, detail-oriented, and able to stay focused amid distractions
