Beacon Hill has partnered with a technology company in downtown Chicago in hiring a Project Coordinator to start immediately! This is a 3-6 month contract role starting in early January. In this role, you will be responsible for managing new vendor onboarding, creating and processing purchase orders (POs), and generating reports to support business operations. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to collaborate across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate onboarding process for new vendors, ensuring all required documentation and compliance standards are met.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records in internal systems.
- Create, review, and process purchase orders (POs) promptly and accurately.
- Monitor PO status and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams.
- Prepare and maintain reports using Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
- Track procurement metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and other departments to ensure smooth procurement workflows.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
