NYC nonprofit located in Midtown Manhattan is looking for a Customer Service Temp to support the Payroll team. The position is two months starting December 2025 and ends January 2026. Monday – Friday onsite, 9am – 5pm with one hours unpaid lunch.
Responsibilities:
- Provide frontline customer service support for payroll-related inquiries, including password resets and general system navigation questions.
- Assist employees and managers during their payroll transition
- Support the Payroll Director and team with administrative and data-entry tasks.
- Help deliver basic training and guidance to users on the new time and attendance platform.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain employee timekeeping information.
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information at all times.
- Utilize basic Excel skills to organize and update data (no pivot tables required).
- Assist with other payroll support tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- ADP experience a plus
- Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required.
- Attention to detail and outstanding organization skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Customer service sensibility
Pay: $20-$22
