Our client, an insurance industry leader, is seeking a Receptionist & Administrative Support Associate for a 3+ month onsite assignment located in Boston. This role runs Monday-Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM and pays $20/hr, with long-term permanent potential. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional front desk service while supporting a busy Customer Contact Service department with administrative and client-facing responsibilities. Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist clients while maintaining a professional, welcoming front desk environment.
- Operate the switchboard and direct incoming calls appropriately.
- Address client concerns, research solutions, and ensure timely resolution.
- Handle daily administrative tasks including indexing documents, sorting subpoenas, and supporting special projects.
- Coordinate internal celebrations and provide support during executive staff absences.
- Train team members who serve as backup reception coverage.
Candidate Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional experience in reception, front desk, hospitality, or administrative support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; insurance industry experience a plus.
