Our client, a well-established, family-owned property management organization, is seeking a Temporary Leasing Assistant to support a busy onsite management office in Providence, RI. This role pays $21/hour, is 100% onsite, and requires a candidate who can start immediately.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, visitors, and site staff
* Provide exceptional customer service by phone, email, and in person
* Assist with move-ins, key distribution, parking assignments, and resident inquiries
* Take maintenance requests and coordinate follow-up with maintenance staff
* Support leasing activities, including processing rental applications and guest cards
* Maintain resident files, lists, and related documentation
* Collect and process rent checks and assist with receivables reporting
* Prepare correspondence, memos, and general administrative materials
* Schedule inspections, services, and communicate updates to residents
* Order office supplies and help maintain a professional office environment
* Support the Property Manager and assist with additional tasks as needed
Candidate Qualifications
- Required: Bilingual in English and Spanish
* Required: Affordable housing experience, including HUD, Tax Credit, HUG, and Section 8
* Prior experience in a property management, leasing, or office environment
* Strong customer service and resident relations skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
