Our client, a historic theatre organization located in the Theatre District, is looking for a Temporary Administrative Assistant to join their team. This will be a coverage of 6-8 weeks with flexibility to extend and will operate on 5 day/week in-office schedule, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM with overtime as needed. Compensation is $30-$35 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Primarily process vendor invoices and manage approvals
- Answer phones and facilitate office communications
- Open, stamp, and distribute mail
- Dispatch routine work requests
- Administer work order systems
- Digitize and maintain records related to work orders and contractor invoices
- Provide administrative support to management staff
- Perform other miscellaneous tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of general office experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet
