As an Account Executive at our client’s tech start-up, you’ll be at the forefront of business development efforts, cultivating relationships with government clients, pitching and closing deals. If you have a proven record of GovTech sales, apply now!
About the Job:
- Maintain strong working relationships with key accounts, build and maintain new customer relationships.
- Implement selling skills and successfully uncover customer needs to build a tailored proposal.
- Plan business growth opportunities, penetrate existing market, and report on competition in the marketplace quarterly.
- Maintain accurate and detailed log of communications using the CRM. Conduct follow-ups.
- Completed other tasks and responsibilities as required.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.
- 1-3+ years of GovTech sales experience is highly preferred.
- Experience within a start-up or entrepreneurial environment is ideal.
- Familiarity with HubSpot and/or Salesforce for account, pipeline, and data tracking.
About the Compensation and Benefits:
- $80K-$95K base salary, depending on experience.
- Generous commission structure with a target OTE of $160K+.
- Fully remote position, but must be based in the Mid-Atlantic region.
