Our client, a global alternative asset manager, is seeking an Executive Assistant to support senior leaders within the Private Equity team. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage complex scheduling, travel, and event planning in a fast-paced environment. The schedule is 8:00-8:30am to 5:30pm, hybrid (4 days onsite in Manhattan, 1 remote), with flexibility for overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Manage calendars, meetings, and logistics for senior executives, resolving conflicts proactively
- Arrange complex international travel plans and prepare detailed itineraries
- Coordinate team events, dinners, and outings, serving as the culture ambassador for the group
- Process expenses using Concur and maintain accurate records
- Prepare and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations for team projects
- Collaborate with other assistants for coverage and provide support outside normal business hours
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of executive assistant experience; finance industry background preferred
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and prioritize competing demands
- Strong initiative, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Collaborative mindset with flexibility for overtime and weekend availability when required
