A well-established professional financial services firm is seeking a Receptionist & Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations in Lynnfield, MA. This is a highly visible front-desk role within a CPA-style environment, offering a temporary opportunity with potential to convert to permanent. The position is onsite, Monday-Friday for 35 hours per week (8:00 AM-3:00 PM or 9:00 AM-4:00 PM), and pays $30/hour.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact at the front desk, greeting visitors and answering/directing phone calls
- Manage and respond to all executive emails based on verbal or written direction
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including FedEx and courier services
- Provide billing organization and administrative support
- Type and prepare pre-drafted financial reports for banking submission
- Perform general clerical and administrative tasks as needed
Candidate Qualifications
- Prior administrative experience in a CPA firm, financial services, or professional office environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; Adobe experience preferred
- Excellent typing, written, and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly
- Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
