This is a short-term, 100% onsite administrative contract role supporting senior leadership at a prestigious higher education institution in Hanover, NH. The assignment begins in early January, runs for approximately two months (with potential extension while covering a leave), and pays $35. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with flexibility to arrive early or stay late for meetings; onsite parking is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support to senior leadership, including complex calendar management, travel coordination, and expense processing
- Support donor engagement, stewardship activities, events, and special mailings
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and briefing materials with strong attention to detail
- Manage and analyze data using CRM and database systems; generate reports and support data-driven decision-making
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and communications with internal teams, alumni, volunteers, and external partners
- Maintain highly confidential records and assist with gift documentation and tracking
Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of complex administrative or executive support experience, preferably in an academic or institutional setting
- Strong organizational, project management, and prioritization skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; ability to learn new systems quickly
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
