We’re seeking a collaborative, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Development (Fundraising) team. This role reports to the Senior Director and works closely with senior leadership to help drive fundraising success and donor engagement.
What you’ll do:
- Provide administrative and calendar support to senior Development leadership
- Coordinate meetings, Board activities, events, donor tours, and retreats
- Manage special projects and assist with department budgeting
- Support donor communications, stewardship, and mailings
- Maintain donor records and engagement data in Salesforce
- Serve as a point of contact for donor inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Prepare donor materials, briefings, and presentations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience is required.
- Two years of experience offering administrative support in fast-paced office environment.
- Non-profit or museum experience a plus
- Thorough knowledge of office practices, procedures and equipment, and ability to operate standard equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint).
- Familiarity with Salesforce (or other fundraising software) is a plus.
- Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
