Our client, a nonprofit organization located in Newark, NJ, is looking for a Temporary Data Entry Specialist to join their team. This position will serve for approximately 2-3 weeks starting in early January 2026 and will operate on a hybrid or fully remote schedule between the hours of 10am – 6pm. Compensation is $20-$22 per hour depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Accurately input and update data into internal systems and spreadsheets.
- Review and verify data for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Organize and manage electronic files to ensure easy retrieval.
- Communicate with team members to clarify data discrepancies.
- Assist with basic reporting and data cleanup as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in data entry or administrative support.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative (self-starter).
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
- High level of discretion when handling confidential information.
