Our client, a mission-driven nonprofit organization in Washington, DC, is seeking a Development Assistant to support their fundraising team.
Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative and programmatic support
* Assist with communications, correspondence, marketing materials, and logistical coordination
* Serve as a point of contact for members via email and phone, delivering strong customer service
* Support data entry, tracking, and reporting related to fundraising and membership activities
* Maintain accurate records and assist with general administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of administrative experience required; nonprofit or association experience strongly preferred
* Exposure to membership, development, or fundraising support is a plus
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, positive demeanor
* Comfortable working with numbers and performing accurate data entry
* Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Word and Excel; NetForum experience preferred but not required
Position Information:
* $20/hr-$22/hr ($48k-$52k annually, if moved perm)
* Hybrid schedule with on-site Tuesday-Thursday
* Metro accessible in DC
